Sonia Sotomayor was nominated by President Barack Obama to replace the retiring Justice David Souter. She faced the Senate recently, and if confirmed she would become the first Hispanic justice. She will turn out to be the junior justice, which happens to be the justice with least seniority but no less authority than her eight benchmates.

Turmoil in Honduras
A military-led coup in Honduras removed President Jose Manuel Zelaya, and the Honduran Congress named Roberto Micheletti interim president. Most countries haven't recognized this new government change. Democracy at it's finest, or another Communist Regime trying to take power? You Decide.

Sarah Palin is not stayin
Former VP Nominee Sarah Palin announced today, that she will be stepping down as Alaska's Chief Executive. Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will be sworn in at the Governor's Picnic on July 26. Will Palin be running for President in 2012?
